LAYTOOLS Support

Matricus offers a comprehensive support program for users who elect to purchase the annual maintenance package. The company uses the products extensively in their own IC design activities and are well appointed to answer questions or resolve issues concerning installation or operation.

The purchase price of the software (which is provided with a perpetual license) includes the first year's maintenance. Leasing and lease-purchase payment methods available

Maintenance

The initial year’s maintenance is included in the purchase price. Thereafter, the maintenance cost per year is 12% of the listed purchase price at the time of renewal for each module.
A maintenance package may only be purchased for all products owned by the user and the above rate only applies if the period of maintenance is uninterrupted.

Maintenance includes full monitoring of the latest product release with bug fixes and at least one major upgrade to the software each year.

Support/Training

Support on all matters associated with the software is available from Matricus from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST/CDT Monday-Friday via e-mail, telephone, or fax. Support in China is provided directly by Eastwell technologies. Support that requires investigation by the software developer may not provide an immediate answer, however indication of the nature of the issue will generally be provided within 24 hours. Training is available in the Lewisville office (near Dallas), or on customer’s site. Please call for price details (contact information )
